Mary McHenry
Mary is the owner/stylist of Images Salon and Spa. Mary is passionate about hair and the integrity for exceptional service. With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Mary’s knowledge and understanding has led her to build the salon and spa of her dreams. Mary is a perfectionist, which allows her to excel in precision cutting and dimensional color. She strives to provide her clients with a space they can come to relax and rejuvenate their bodies and minds. She wants her customers to leave feeling nourished from their salon experience. Mary’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family. Being with her grand babies is time well spent in her eyes.

Mallory Spry
Mallory has been creating beautiful hair behind the chair for over 10 years, beginning her journey at Images and growing into a highly sought-after stylist on the Eastern Shore. While she’s known for crafting lived-in color that’s perfect for clients with busy lifestyles, Mallory also specializes in extensions, offering seamless blends that add volume and length for a stunning transformation.
As a Master Bellami Stylist, certified Xtreme Lash Artist, and CND Shellac Pro, she brings a diverse skill set to her work. But it’s her expertise in blonding that truly sets her apart. Mallory is all about delivering those luminous, natural-looking highlights and custom blends that leave her clients feeling confident and refreshed.
Outside the salon, Mallory is a proud mom, dog lover, and beach enthusiast, always seeking sunny escapes. Laurie Usilton
Laurie brings 30 years of beauty industry experience and a unique perspective on fashion. She enjoys all aspects of family hair care and specializes in foil highlighting, texturizing services, and cuts for women and men. Passionate about continuing education, Laurie stays updated on ever-changing beauty trends and techniques.
She owned Classy Cuts in Chestertown, MD, for six years before joining her best friends in a “relaxing environment” to continue doing what she loves. In her free time, Laurie enjoys outdoor activities like long walks and spending time on the water or at the beach. She cherishes moments with family and friends and loves cooking and dining out.

Sarah Kulp
Sarah joined the Images team in 2018. She brings over 7 years of beauty industry experience to the salon. We asked her what exactly she’d want in her bio and she first quoted this….“If you were to ask me at 4 years old what I wanted to be when I grow up, I always said I wanted to make people pretty.” That surely stands tried and true to this day. Sarah is our head makeup artist, and specializes in blondes. She has an ever expanding passion for nail services, staying up to date on current trends and techniques. Sarah believes it’s not just about the look, she takes time to get to know her clients and make them feel comfortable, and beautiful inside and out. During her time off she loves being with her son, boyfriend and bonus kids. If she’s not starting a new DIY project, She is as close to the water as She can get! She loves traveling to new places and trying new things.

Debbie Vansant
Debbie joined the Images family in 2002 when we built our new location in Worton, MD. She is a senior stylist and has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. Debbie spends every second of her day dedicated to her clients to make sure they walk out of our doors happier than they came in.
Debbie always says, “Customer service is key. They are our main priority as soon as they walk in the door!”

Shelby Powers
Shelby has been in the hair industry for 10 years. To say it’s a passion of hers to make people feel beautiful is an understatement! In 2012 she started as a shampoo tech in Virginia. From that year on she knew this industry is where she belonged. She was grateful enough to be offered an apprenticeship shortly after she started as a tech. She finished her licensing in the state of Virginia and continued her career as a stylist. Shelby recently moved from Virginia to Maryland. She’s a sucker for light and bright blondes with subtle root taps for a seamless grow out and isn’t afraid of copper and warm tones! Shelby is Master’s of Balayage certified. She offers a wide range of services from men’s and women’s cuts, color/highlighting services, waxing and pedicures! Outside of being behind the chair and pampering her clients you will find her with her husband and kids enjoying the outdoors and camping!

Julie Puglisi
Julie joined our team in September 2024, bringing over 18 years of experience and a true passion for transformative makeovers. She is a master of precision cutting and finds joy in helping clients acheive their dream look– whether that’s a fresh new style or adding volume and length through luxurious extensions.
A graduate of Award Beauty School in 2004, Julie has honed her craft over the years, becoming certified in the Brazilian Blowout, and always striving to have her clients leave feeling radiant and confident.
Her magic touch? A combination of creativity, technique, and the desire to make everyone feel beautiful. Julie enjoys spending time with her 3 beautiful children and family.

Melanie became a licensed nail technician in 2013 after completing her education in Sacramento, CA. With a passion for nails that began in her early teens, she has developed a special focus on cuticle care, believing cuticle oil to be as important as it’s often emphasized. Her favorite service is a simple, structured manicure, which allows her to showcase her precision and attention to detail. When she’s not perfecting nails, she enjoys diving into a good book, combining her love for beauty with her passion for reading.

Beth Councell
Here at Image’s we are fast paced. We needed someone who could keep us running smoothly. Beth started at Images in June 2020. From ordering supplies, doing laundry, sweeping hair, to answering phones Beth keeps us going. Whatever needs to be done she’s the first one to step up and get it done. When Beth isn’t with us at Images, she enjoys fishing with her husband and helping the Rock Hall Ladies Auxillary.
